If your installation of Visual Studio is installed to a non-standard path you can manually set up SIMetrix to use your installed Visual Studio. Proceed as follows:

Type this command into the SIMetrix command line \\
va_configure_vs \\

Locate the vcvars64.bat file in your Visual Studio installation. For 2017-2022 it should be located in the subdirectory VC\Auxiliary\Build\. For older versions it should be in subdirectory VC\bin\amd64.
