4.3 Define Waveform Persistence

In the upper right corner of he Edit Probe dialog is a Persistence field, which normally has Default checked.  The default Persistence value is defined in the Graph/Probe/Data Analysis section of the General Options dialog.

A number in the Persistence field specifies how many simulation runs worth of data are retained for each probe. A value of 0 means that all data runs are retained.

To change the default value of 0, follow these steps:

  1. In the Command Shell, select  File ▶ Options ▶ General.....
    Result: The Options/Preferences dialog box appears showing the Schematic options tab.
  2. Click the Graph/Probe/Data Analysis tab.
  3. In the second section on the left, Fixed probe global options, next to the Default Persistence label, use the arrow buttons to increase the number.
    OR
    Select the 0 and type the number of runs you want to retain.

  4. Click Ok.
