In section 5.2 Running the Line and Load Testplan, you ran the line and load regulation testplan, which automatically included scalar values on the overview report in the CALCULATED RESULTS section. Other scalars from a test can also be copied to the overview report with the PromoteScalar() function. Any number of scalars can be promoted by using multiple PromoteScalar() calls. This function also allows you to rename the scalars.
To add scalars to an overview report, follow these steps:
The testplan now has four Promote columns: the two that you just added plus the existing ones with the PromoteGraph() functions . An already prepared starting testplan as shown below is available from SIMPLIS_dvm_tutorial_examples.zip at this path: 6.5.2_promotescalar_start.testplan with the additional columns highlighted in red .
